The Flow cytometry is a multiparametric and quantitative method that analyzes scattered and fluorescent signals produced by a cell passing through a beam of light (laser), It is considered an analytical tool, fast and sensitive. The equipment with which BIOREN accounts is a Flow Cytometer FACs Canto II by Becton Dickinson of double laser (blue 488 nm and red 633 nm), with the possibility of adding a third laser (violet 405 nm), this equipment measure cells in suspension of 0.2 to 100 microns in size. Leica EM UC7 Ultramicrotome
The Leica EM UC7 Ultramicrotome allow to obtain semi, thin and ultrathin sections, around nanometers of thickness, which is needed for ultrastructure visualization in electron microscope (SEM and STEM). • Gas chromatograph coupled with thermal conductivity detector and flame photometric detector (GC/TCD-FPD). The TCD is a universal detector responding to most compounds, as well as gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. Our equipment use N2 as adsorbate and can measure BET surface area from 0.01m2/g to more than 2000 m2/g and pore size range of 3.5 to >4000 Å.
